About This Spot

Stepping into Adrian's #2 feels like slipping into a cherished neighborhood hideaway where time slows just enough for a genuine moment of connection. Nestled on Mesa’s West Main Street, this modest Mexican restaurant carries a welcoming hum—conversations mingle with the gentle clatter of plates, while the warm glow from simple lighting invites locals and visitors to settle in for something authentically comforting.

The pace here is unhurried, drawing you into a rhythm that’s part familiar routine, part quiet celebration of good food made with care. The aroma of fresh tortillas mingling with the scent of simmering green and red sauces sets a nostalgic tone, as though you’ve wandered into a small kitchen where recipes have been handed down through generations. While the menu offers an enticing range of options from breakfast burritos that feel like a morning hug to savory enchiladas perfect for midday respite, the true heart of the experience lies in how each dish connects you to moments worth savoring.

The genuine energy behind the counter, reflected in the friendly exchanges and attentive service, adds a human layer that many places miss. This is a spot where locals return weekend after weekend—not just for the satisfying flavors—but because it feels like an extension of home. It’s in the small details: the homemade beans, the thoughtfully seasoned eggs, the salsa’s balanced kick—and the unspoken understanding that these humble pleasures are meant to be shared, slowly, with good company.

For anyone looking to explore an authentic Mexican dining experience that balances simplicity with soulful flavor, Adrian’s #2 offers a quiet discovery—a place where the focus remains on enjoying the genuine warmth of food made with heart and the comfort of a welcoming atmosphere that feels just right.

Chorizo burrito. I wasn't a fan of the Chorizo but it wasn't bad. This one is just too peppery for me. Tortilla, beans, rice all taste homemade and delicious.

Hands down one of the best Mexican breakfast burritos I’ve ever had (Special Burrito). Absolutely packed with flavor, seasoned eggs, fresh tortillas, and just the right amount of spicy kick in the salsa. This is kind of breakfast is authentic as it gets. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My usual breakfast burrito spot was closed today for a remodel, so I had to find another spot to keep the weekend morning tradition going! Adrian’s was great! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the Special Breakfast Burrito was great! Will definitely keep this place in mind for next weekend

This is the most amazing spot I visited in Phoenix. It was like going to one of those little places in Mexico. Enchiladas at lunchtime... priceless! I love it; these hidden gems will always be the best.

Great place to grab breakfast burritos, a bit pricey but the food is delicious, fresh, and flavorful. I enjoy the chorizo, egg, bacon and potato burrito and my wife enjoys the special burrito. Their green sauce is full of flavor and the red sauce has the perfect spice kick. Have been here a few times and definitely will return.

We met the family 1 brother and 2 sisters who own this location. It is phenomenal tasting! Open 7 days a week 7-3. Closed only June 15-July 15. They earned it for sure!

Small little diner, but authentic and tasty food. Obviously a hit with the locals too. We will be back.
